My career path is atypical for academics; I graduated with my B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in 1983 and my Ph.D. in Psychology from Radboud University, The Netherlands, in 2016. My career included many years in the high-tech industry between these years, including extensive engineering experience developing GPS receivers for highly demanding applications. Years after, I founded a startup company in the communication field, was a senior executive in a Nasdaq traded company, and joined as a partner, a venture capital fund investing in technology startups.
I transitioned to academia and set the ground for interdisciplinary research, utilizing my expertise in psychology, cognition, algorithmic research, and technology.
